What’s Up?

Pretty Flowers

It’s been a week since the last time I posted an entry so I thought it’s about time for another entry. Not that there’s much to report, if any. The last week or so had been spent trying to get all sort of spyware/malware/trojans out of our computer. Some virus managed to alter Norton Anti-Virus and rendered it useless last week. But thanks to the Tom Coyote forum, I managed to clean up my computer, but not after hours of scanning, deleting, and rebooting Windows.

Other than that, I’ve just been keeping myself busy taking care of my plants. We finally got around to buying some annuals last week to fill up the planter box in the balcony, which was empty since last year’s plants were already dead. We also bought two other plants that we should be able to keep alive during the winter by keeping them inside. One of them is a spider plant, which I’d always wanted. The other one is a vinca vine, which is supposed to be fast growing. I love fast growing plants.

In addition to the pothos, peace lily, lucky bamboos, and lemongrass that we’ve had for awhile, we now also have a tiny spruce tree and an oxalis shamrock that Troy just brought home today, inside the apartment. Come winter, this already crowded apartment will be even more crowded with all the outside plants in. But I don’t want to think about it yet. Right now I just want to enjoy my gardening experience and try to get that green thumb that my mother had.
Someday, we’re going to have our own house with a yard and our garden is going to be the most beautiful garden in the block. One can always dream. πŸ˜‰

  3. Yulini: I taught myself web design online. There’s plenty of resources all over the Internet. Learning something is never difficult if you enjoy it. πŸ™‚
