FGotD: Ripley’s IQ Game

If my weblog had a Frustrating Game of the Day (FGotD) feature, Ripley’s IQ Game would be it for today. The object of the game is to jump the balls over each other like you do in a checkers game until you only have one ball left. The least ball I can get so far is two balls. So frustrating. I don’t think it would take a genius to solve it. I guess I just have to keep on trying.

Aww. You should’ve added “SPOILER WARNING!” so I can put a bucket on my head.

The first move will be to move the ball from square 6 to square F. I’ll write it like this: “6 -> F”. I did it too — eventually. Don’t ask me how. But here’s proof that I did: comment image

My grandmother used to have this triangular wooden peg game, you moved the pegs in the same way til you had one left.
Miraculously, I remembered how to play it and won in my 2nd try :)
Thanks for the link, I will have to ask grandma where those games are!
