I need to figure out how to make my dSLR camera do the Slow Sync Flash thing, meaning I’ll be asking Troy to figure it out for me because, hey, I didn’t marry an engineer for nothing! :P Anyway, the slow sync flash makes for some really cool-looking effects in low light photography.

I do a lot of slow-sync flash photography, although I didn’t know there was a word for it.
I do a lot of band photography, and there’s a trick I do. I use the flash and set the shutter speed to 1/4 or 1/2 second. As soon as the flash goes off, I jerk the camera in a chosen direction. It can make it look like the subject is on fire, like in this photo:
